Barbara K. Guth National President 2006-2007 Welcome to AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary as we begin our 61st year of service to our great nation. Our organization has an impressive record of service. We have inherited an important legacy and one that we want to pass onto our future members. Each year we continue to build on our foundation to provide better service to more veterans, service more members in our community and support the men and women on active duty.
We strive each year to make our organization stronger and better. Let’s make this a year to top all years as we create Unbridled Passion. We can demonstrate our support by exhibiting our patriotism by flying the U.S. Flag every day. We need to make sure that all veterans receive the entitlement they earned when they put their lives on the line for each of us. To conduct all of our voluntary service programs, we need a strong membership. Now is the time to build up our new, reinstated and continuous membership drives.
As we begin our new program year, I want to thank you in advance for all that you will do for AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary. As we work together, express our patriotism and become more acquainted with the goals of each program, our bonds will be strengthened. I look forward with great anticipation for an exciting year and to work with all of you.
